Chuck n Mike! been a fan since early 08! and i love you guys i fight to the death when i debate about real hip hop and you guys because i think you are the only ones true to yourselves and that there are a lot of guys out there just gimmicks..This doesn’t sound like ur first stuff but people evolve. The Cool Kids always deliver. Chuck is a straight genious on the beats. Im a big fan and I love the mixtapes but I’ve been waiting for the album. I still dont get why these dudes don’t have the amount of fame as some of their peers, you know the drakes and the kid cudis of the world. Im not saying those other dudes dont deserve it becuase they are nice and they work hard and I am a fan. But I think the Cool Kids couldve been on the last couple freshman top 10’s and are better than a lot of dudes who have hype. I mean that dude khaled signed, Ace hood, is two albums in and he’s trash. But I do prefer quality over quantity and a lot of dudes did have that major label co sign. I just hate the state of music now because its like you have to put out like 2 or 3 albums before you actually get a studio album. If you’re a fan you know just like I know that “gone fishing” couldve been put on a shelf and went platinum years ago. I just think these dudes deserve more, I’m not a dick rider but they are nice. Well I’ll be bumpin that “Tacklebox” all summer along with “Gone Fishing”, “Merry Christmas”, “Thats Stupid” and the rest of them joints. I hope the album is coming soon I know it will be hot. Peace
Shit, this is a lot different than the old skool Cool Kids, but damn, i got to say that its the chillest and illest shit i’ve heard, EVER. Gone Fishin goes hard, but Tacklebox def puts you in a good mood. Thanks for delivering Chuck and Mike. The lyricism here is classic Cool Kids, along with the progression of the beats. Even if they don’t sound like Black Mags, they have that same buildin’ block that makes ‘em work. Chuck Inglish I wish I could make beats like this, but it’s just not my style, and that’s exactly why you guys are TCK. When the album comin’ out!? I been waitin’ for Y-E-A-R-S. f*ck the 1st guy. ive been a fan since 06 its thats valuable amongst this blog board. i could tell you right now everything youve dropped has been pure slap! i also noticed theyre are some bay influenced slaps on here and i appreciate that even more. theres always this sense of relation in your music all while sticking to the script. i wouldnt have this tape any other way brotha. I’m sorry guys but this mixtape is wack. I don’t think it was the lyrics but the beats. A few of them were good like the first track, Freak City, and Volume 2. Great Outdoors is aiite, but So Neat and Birthday are pretty cheesy. The last LPs, EPs and Mixtapes made were excelent but this mixtape is too simple on those beats and couldave been much better. The album better be more like the bake sale and far from this.

How did anybody not like Gone Fishing? That might be the best Mixtape I’ve ever heard. If that was your debut CD you guys would be huge right now. I thought this joint was ok but I think I judge it kind of tough cause I love Gone Fishing so much.
